Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 31, 2026
Our commitment
Governome is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is a build requirement here, not an afterthought — reading regulatory and compliance content shouldn't be harder than the compliance work itself.
What we've actually implemented
- Semantic HTML and landmark regions throughout, with a “skip to main content” link on every page.
- Text color contrast checked against the 4.5:1 AA threshold, not eyeballed.
- Full keyboard navigation, including the mobile menu and desktop mega-menu, with visible focus states.
- Respect for your operating system's reduced-motion preference.
- Descriptive alt text on every meaningful image; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- A logical, consistent heading hierarchy on every article.
Known limitations
This site is actively being built out, and we haven't run a full third-party accessibility audit yet. If you use assistive technology and something doesn't work the way it should, that's useful information for us, not a reason to stay quiet about it — please tell us.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, contact us at weboptimizadorseo@gmail.com with the page URL and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as bugs, not feature requests, and prioritize them accordingly.
